At Easington Colliery Primary School, our art curriculum is designed to maximise the potential of all pupils. We ensure all pupils are exposed to creativity consistently throughout their education. Together we explore the work of different artists, designers and craft makers to enrich the children's view on the world in regards to the past, present and future. Expressing themselves through art provides children opportunities to work with different media and convey their learning in a multitude of ways. Teaching art using multi-sensory techniques nurtures a love of learning and ensures that our curriculum is inclusive and promotes equality for all. The children's art journey is progressive and supports all to gain and maintain new skills, which can support them as they progress on to higher education and life.
